Terms & Conditions
The rules for using the FEA Academy website and its resources. Last updated: October 4, 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of www.fea-academy.com, operated by FEA Academy (Dominique Madier). By using this website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
For any question, write to dominique.madier@fea-academy.com.
2. Use of the website
You may browse the website and download the free resources for your personal learning, your work, or your teaching. You agree not to use the website in a way that could damage it, disrupt its operation, or harm other users, and not to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content through its forms.
3. Intellectual property
The content of this website (texts, illustrations, videos, course descriptions, book extracts, and the FEA Academy and Simulation Experts names and logos) belongs to FEA Academy or to its partners, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, republish, or sell it without written permission.
FEA Academy and Simulation Experts are trademarks of Dominique Madier. They may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written permission.
The free example models, guides, and Book Bytes offered on the Free Resources page may be used without restriction for your training or the training of your students, provided you credit the author, Dominique Madier, and FEA Academy in your publications or classes.
4. Courses and books
Online courses are sold and delivered on Thinkific. Hardcover books are printed and shipped by Lulu, and eBooks are sold and delivered by DPD. Payment, delivery, course access, and any refund requests are handled according to the terms of the platform on which you make your purchase. Prices shown on this website are indicative; the price that applies is the one shown at checkout.
Course content, duration, and access conditions are described on each course page. Regional pricing and student discounts are offered as described on those pages.
5. Coaching and consulting
Coaching plans and consulting projects (Simulation Experts) are governed by a separate quotation or agreement, which defines the scope, schedule, price, and confidentiality terms. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any technical discussion. Calls booked on Calendly, including the free 30-minute call and the 1-hour on-demand consulting session, are subject to the booking terms shown at the time of booking.
6. FEA Competence Diagnostic
The FEA Competence Diagnostic is a free self-assessment tool. Its report is generated automatically, partly with an artificial intelligence service, from your answers. It is provided for information only, to help you choose a learning path, and is not a professional certification or an evaluation of your work.
7. Educational content and engineering responsibility
The concepts, methods, and examples presented on this website, in the free resources, books, and courses are for illustrative and educational purposes. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to apply to any particular engineering problem. Engineering decisions based on finite element analysis remain the responsibility of the engineer and the organization that make them, including the verification and validation of their models and results.
8. Limitation of liability
We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or always available. To the extent permitted by law, FEA Academy and its author assume no liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this website or of the information and files it contains.
