This program has been an absolute game-changer for me. Prior to taking it, I had just started a job as a mechanical designer and had recently completed my undergraduate degree, where I took an FEA class. Although interesting, that class did not prepare me at all for the job. This course helped me understand proper modeling techniques and gave me much more confidence in my analysis and modeling choices. I would especially like to highlight the lessons on meshing, RBEs, and MPCs, where I was able to identify my mistakes and learn new techniques. Thanks to Dominique Madier and Steffan Evans my knowledge about FEA has changed. I have learned from this training so many basic modeling techniques, the importance of the application of those practices and the risk to ignore them, FEA is a tool that must be used wisely. FEA is not able to solve the problems by itself it requires to understand the problem and the engineering judgement to validate if the outcomes has sense or not. It was a different training and it was very illustrative.
